WFS Ltd Policies
Damaged, lost or short shipments should be reported to us immediately so that we can re-ship the merchandise and/or register a damage claim with the appropriate carrier. Please do not accept packages that are obviously opened or damaged. Keep damaged goods and containers exactly as they were delivered until you're advised otherwise.
Make sure to inspect all freight-bound shipments prior to accepting the contents for any damage. Report damage directly to the delivery person and clearly mark the bill of lading as "DAMAGED". All damaged shipments must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. Report all damaged shipments to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Warranties on products sold by WFS Ltd. are provided by the manufacturer and range from 90 days to limited lifetime. Most of our hand tools have lifetime warranties and most power tools and machinery have warranties from 90 days to 1 year. Warranty information for specific products are available in their product listings and / or on each of the respective manufacturers' web sites.
In order to claim a warranty, all tools that you believe may be defective must be returned prepaid, along with a copy of your original invoice or proof of purchase, as described in our. Warranties do not cover products misused, abused or that have been modified in any fashion. Normal wear and tear is also not covered by manufacturer's warranties. Please refer to our and the manufacturer's warranty for complete details.
Most hand tools sold by WFS Ltd. have limited lifetime warranties covering consumer use and most commercial applications. Specific exceptions are noted in the manufacturer's product warranty. To satisfy any warranty requirements, we will replace or repair (at our discretion) any warranted tool that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. We reserve the right to withhold replacement or repair until we've had a chance to inspect the product.
All warranties and information within WFS Ltd's website is listed in specific relation to product guarantees, expressed or implied, with respect to quality, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. WFS Ltd. shall in no event be liable for injuries, accidental or otherwise, death to persons, or damage to property, or for incidental contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of any products.
Pricing and Misprints:
At WFS Ltd. we make every effort to ensure that our pricing and product information is accurate. However, in the event of an error, we reserve the right to correct pricing mistakes that occur as a result of typographical errors, systemic or printing mistakes. All prices are subject to change without notice and are limited to stock on hand. The above policy covers both regular and special pricing, WFS Ltd. reserves the right to credit customers in full in the event of a systemic technical error causing incorrect pricing on both special and regular stock items. WFS Ltd. will make every effort to contact affected customers if a systemic event takes place which impacts current customer orders.
WFS Ltd. is required to charge the appropriate Federal and Provincial taxes as dictated by each Province and Territory.
We do our best to avoid backorders, they are costly to us and annoying to you. If however an item has to be backordered, our Customer Service Department will contact you and advise you of anticipated product delivery dates. Unless otherwise stated, you have the right to cancel any of your backordered items at any time before your order is shipped. If you wish, you may also choose to have us hold your entire order until all items are in stock and can be shipped together.
