3M™ Belt-Mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirator Assembly GVP-1 is a belt-mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirator Assembly that includes components needed to make a complete PAPR system. It helps to provide respiratory protection when combined with the 3M™ Headgear and 3M™ Breathing Tube.

Powered Air Purifying Respirators are motorized systems powered by a battery pack which draw air through a filter or cartridge to provide respiratory protection to the wearer. The blower unit can be mounted on the waist, face, or head, depending on the system selected. The 3M™ Belt Mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirator Assembly GVP 1 allows the wearer to choose from a wide selection of filters that offer flexibility and freedom to work in a variety of industrial environments. These systems are compatible with many different styles of headgear including hoods, loose fitting facepieces, helmets and full facepieces.
